Corporate Executive Briefing Series: Crisis Communications in the China Market

Jerry Hendin has 40 years’ experience in working with companies around the world to help them build and protect their reputations. As vice president of communications for Boeing’s Commercial Airplane Company, Jerry wrote the first industry-wide manual on how to communicate during a crisis and has trained more than 40 airlines and other companies around the world in crisis communications.

Later, as President and CEO of Edelman Public Relations, Asia Pacific, based in Singapore, Jerry worked with senior executives in Asia to help them define their company’s vision and lay out a communications plan to ensure their future success.

The Corporate Executive Briefing Series, launched by WSCRC in 2018, is series of conversations which aims to provide a unique venue in which Washington business owners and executives can substantively increase their knowledge of commercial engagement with and in China.
