Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will talk to audiences in Seattle and 100+ locations across the United States during the 12th annual CHINA Town Hall on October 9. The two-part event, sponsored by the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations and WSCRC features an interactive webcast discussion and Q&A with Secretary Rice on the complex Sino-American relationship, as well as an expert speaker on-site to discuss specific China-related issues that have an impact on the local community.
China’s emergence as a global power, its role as a major trade partner amid recent frictions, and its potential as a collaborator on key U.S. global policy initiatives ensure that U.S.-China relations will affect the lives of all Americans. CHINA Town Hall will help audiences around the country understand the challenges and opportunities of what has been characterized as the most important bilateral relationship of the 21st century.
