Philo Alto will survey the state of the philanthropic landscape in Hong Kong, treatment its players, ambulance challenges and opportunities going forward. The landscape is defined by philanthropic individuals and institutions deploying their time, buy networks, expertise, and financial resources to create intended social and environmental impacts. Tools include traditional philanthropy, venture philanthropy, and impact investing. Mr. Alto will also share observations from his recent program curation work for the HK Jockey Club Charities Trust on their Philanthropy for Better Cities forum and his collaboration with the Rockefeller Foundation on impact investing landscape in Hong Kong.
