China has the largest population of patients with increasing disposable incomes. The demand for drugs, medical equipment, quality care and good practice has been higher than ever before. Given that China is one of the largest importers of goods from Washington, healthcare companies in Washington State are perfectly positioned to engage with the healthcare market in China. This event convenes members working in healthcare and related fields to collaboratively evaluate business development and knowledge-sharing opportunities between Washington state and China.

Dr. Raymond Yeung, M.D., is a board certified surgeon and founder of the UW Medicine Liver Tumor Clinic, the first clinic of its kind in the Pacific Northwest. He is also a UW professor of Surgery and an adjunct professor of Medicine, Medical Genetics and Pathology. Dr. Yeung’s clinical focus is on the surgical treatment of tumors of the liver and bile duct and metastatic disease involving the liver. He believes in working with each patient in partnership to achieve the best outcome. Dr. Yeung earned his M.D. at the University of Toronto. He has a robust academic research presence at the University of Washington and has received both local and national research funding to support his work.
Dr. Albert DiPiero is Co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of ZOOM+Care, a healthcare system with 36 locations in Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington. He graduated from the University of California – San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine in 1991, and completed his internal medicine residency there in 1994. Dr. DiPiero has been board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine since 1994. He received his Master’s degree in public health from the UCLA School of Public Health in 1997. Dr. DiPiero served as medical director at the OHSU Health Center – Tigard, and is currently an assistant professor in the Department of Medicine. His clinical practice is focused on the care of patients with multiple chronic illnesses such as diabetes, high cholesterol and high blood pressure. He is part of the Chronic Illness Management Clinic in the division of general internal medicine.
Brian Zhou is the CEO of Wyzlink, a company that specializes in AR education, AR application, cloud safety and cloud computing. He is a technology industry leader, entrepreneur, and advisor. Born and raised in China, educated in the US and with extensive work experience in both the US and China, Brian is a uniquely cross-cultural executive that is adept at melding the best of East and West. With over 20 years’ experience, Brian is a well recognized expert in the areas of business, operation and technology fronts.
Jing DiPiero is the Fouder and CEO of DPR Conuslting. DPR Consulting offers comprehensive medical solutions, such as medical education, healthcare training, telemedicine, consulting and collaboration to Chinese patients, medical practitioners, hospitals and various levels of government to innovate and improve healthcare service. DPR has recently branched into healthy food business to invent, manufacture and distribute nutritious food to people with dietary restrictions.
